Who We Are

KidsAndCars.org is the only national nonprofit child safety organization devoted solely to preventing injuries and death to children from vehicle-related incidents that have been historically ignored by the Federal Government. KidsAndCars.org has been pioneering proactive education programs since 1996 to eliminate the predictable and preventable incidents such as backovers, frontovers, vehicular heat stroke, power window strangulation and amputation, trunk entrapment, unintended roll-away and many other vehicle-related dangers. KidsAndCars.org works to eliminate these pervasive incidents through data collection, education and public awareness programs, policy change, product redesign and survivor advocacy.
